Unplanned Best Friend Dates are the Best

I don't know if you know this but I share my birthday with my best friend, Olivia, on January 28th. Well, being the awesome person she is she got me my birthday present on time. I as the procrastinating weirdo did not. And on March 30th, Olivia finally got her birthday present. I got her these pens that she wanted, the peplum top in the following photos, pink 50s sunglasses, and a recycled notebook that reminded me of her.

When my sister and I dropped it off, it felt like me and olivia hadn't seen each other in a week, when really we saw each other the morning before. oh how best friends act. well, we knew just poppin in wasn't enough, so we decided to go get Sweet Frog. yum!

Lexi drove us there and we ate with her and her friend Davis. After nomming, it was time for a photoshoot on that white wall canvas. enjoy these photos!

A Letter to a Troubled Woman

To the lady driving  the 4 door mini cooper tonight on Monument Ave-

You looked sad. Well, actually you looked happy talking on the phone at the light at Staples Mill. Then you threw your phone down and began to cry. I felt bad. And I wanted to know why you started to pout. Boyfriend problems? Parents? Money? I wish I could help you. But I know I will never see you in my life again. I just wanted to be a good citizen and help you out but I mom had a "lead foot" tonight. I hope you are okay.

your worried, new, friend

I'm so sorry for the long gap of no posts. Life's been hectic. I'll do a "lately" post later but today I want to share some pictures about my childhood. Enjoy and feel free to laugh at me! :)

A Night on the Town

So, tonight I met up with my best friend from middle school, Lyla, and we went to see Les Miserables.

Les Mis was great, don't get me wrong but I felt the length was too long for such a heavy musical. Oh boy, I LOVED the casting and such the actors were FAB-U-LOUS. I just wish they shortened it, especially in some of the fighting scenes. I'm very glad I had a lady date with my beautiful frandddd, whom I miss frequently.

And after the movie we stopped to get ice cream at Lyla's mom's, Baskin Robbins, where I will be working this summer. :) YAY!

well, it's time for me to head off and watch movie with mis padres. adios y'all! have a wonderful night & weekend if you don't hear from me!

College Explorin'

Hey there! So today we traveled from our beautiful little hotel to two colleges- Wake Forest & Duke. But, before I share about the colleges look at the hotel (or should I say manor) that we stayed at! Beyond adorable!

It all felt like a castle! A princess living at her castle!

The Garden

"The Silo Suite"- who wouldn't want to stay there?!

So that was our BEAUTIFUL hotel called the Graylyn. After our wonderful stay there, we headed to Wake Forest. Probably one of my favorite colleges. Just look at these photos...
